One of our favorite things about find Jim N’ Nick’s is that you can find it all over! They have locations in Alabama, Georgia, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee AND at the bbq festival in Madison Square park where we had our first taste!
Jim N’ Nicks pride themselves on making everything from scratch. Travel to one of their locations to try their pork shoulders which are smoked for over 14 hours or order their cheesy biscuit mix online and make them at home! What really set Jim N’ Nicks a part from the rest was their unique use of pimento cheese! That’s right kids, we said PIMENTO CHEESE! This ingenious combination was completely different and completely devoured by both of us!
You may ask, what is pimento cheese? Well, here is Jim N’ Nick’s fantastic recipe!
- shredded cheddar
- mayo
- roasted red peppers
- tabassco
- cayanne
You spread the love of the cheese on a saltine cracker, add a slice of hot link and a jalapeño pepper and it is a to-die-for bite of heaven!

Thumbs up to Jim ‘N Nicks from this barbeque aficionado. They are consistently good quality for a chain. But “what is pimento cheese”? I did not realize that so many people were unfamiliar. Obviously southbyse.com will need to address this – soon!
Totally agree. From a ‘cue head, like myself, I don’t typically support chains but with the regional footprint of Jim ‘N Nicks being so consistent, it’s hard not to. They do a nice job!
